Graphic Design

I graduated in 2008 from The Cape Peninsula University of Technology, with a National Diploma in Graphic Design. I have spend my early years in repro-houses, advertisement agencies and young start ups before going freelance in 2014. I since chose to specialize with an illustrative style, letting my illustrations become prominent features in my concepts.

However, I have spend enough years doing traditional corporate designs alongside my more personal work, to provide a variety of styles in my design portfolio.

Below are a few examples.

Bonnieville Vegan Chocolate

Bonnieville was a result of free time and coming up with interesting ways of boosting my portfolio. I wanted to create an illustrative brand design that could easily be remembered and associated  with chocolate. I chose to use a brown, sepia palette for its obvious chcololate association but also lending a nostalgic touch to the art.

Read To Me, Please!

I enjoy participating in book launches and events with LaShon Ormond, actor behind the Read To Me, Please! series. I have worked with LaShon since 2013 and have illustrated 10 of her stories. Below are some apparel for one of the launches.

Aziz Online Learning

Brand Promotion

The below designs were brand awareness campaign concepts for an agency I worked at during 2014/15. It was visually inspired by the art of origami, with an animal or beast, one would usually associate with each of their brand values.

Equra  Health

Equra Health is an oncology center in Cape Town. During 2015. I was tasked to create corporate stationary designs which included a desk calendar,  customer booklet and corporate brochure. Below are their mock ups.
